One Step Away combines traditional 12 step recovery methods with Bible-based teachings to help those struggling with alcohol and drug addiction find relief while strengthening their faith. We believe this combination leads to a better chance of full recovery. One Step Away meets court requirements and may be taken for personal growth, also. While the 12 step program was originally established as a pathway to recovery from alcohol addiction; we recognize that true deliverance from addictions comes from God Almighty. It is our view that those willing to get clean and sober through working the 12 steps will succeed; but those able to embrace biblical teachings will go One Step further and gain complete deliverance from harmful addictions and experience a life of victory and liberty in Christ Jesus.
